Dandruff is also one of the conditions of the scalp. In this condition, due the scaling the scalp gets covered with dry scales, which are white in color. When the person with dandruff combs his or her hair, this dandruff falls on their shoulder. Due to dandruff the person gets itching due to which the scalp gets hurt. Dandruff can happen to people of any age and gender. It should not be neglected under any reason.

There are various products in market, which assures to be effective over dandruff. But most of these products are either not effective or too expensive to buy. Hence it is better to try home remedies for dandruff , which have proved beneficial for many who had dandruff.

Home remedies for Dandruff :

• If you have dandruff, you should wash your hair daily with some good soap. This will help to keep the hair and the scalp clean. There is no need to worry about washing hair on a daily basis, as it is not harmful.
• One more very important thing to do is to clean your comb and brush after every time you use it.
• Once you wash your hair with shampoo, then for the last rinse you can use one teaspoon of fresh limejuice. This will help in reducing the dandruff and will also give you shining hair.
• Soak about two tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in the water and keep it overnight. Next day morning ground it with the help of mixture grinder and apply this apste over the scalp. Keep it for about half an hour and then wash it off with soap-nut solution. (Ritha solution). This is one of the best and very effective home remedies for dandruff .
• Boil a beet along with its root in water. Massage this water on your scalp every night before sleeping. White beetroot is every effective over dandruff.
• Take two tablespoon of green gram powder and mix it with half cup of curd. Use this solution to wash your hair. Do this twice in a week for fast results.
• Rub the juice of snakegourd over the scalp and then wash it off with any soap. The juice of snakegourd is very effective in the treatment of dandruff.
• Keep one bowl of curd in open for about three days. Then use this curd to massage your hair. Massage your hair with this curd for about half an hour daily.
• Add water and apple cider vinegar in equal amounts and apply this solution over the scalp with the help of cotton wool.
• Add cider vinegar into the final rinsing water after doing shampoo to your hair. Using this water for final rinse will help in reducing the dandruff.
• For three days have only fruits of all kinds in breakfast, lunch and dinner. This all fruit diet will work wonders on your hair and the dandruff will soon vanish.
• If you have dandruff in your hair, then avoid eating bananas and citrus fruits.
• You should stay away form drinking strong tea, coffee. Avoid meats, white flour, pickles and other processed foods.
